As an industrial mechanic, you are the key player in the maintenance and repair of machines and installations within a modern production environment. You ensure the entire production process runs smoothly by quickly and skillfully resolving malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and immediately addressing any defects. Your work is essential to guarantee the company’s continuity and efficiency. A typical workday starts with a brief handover with colleagues from other shifts, after which you get started with planned maintenance tasks. In between, you’re called upon for urgent breakdowns – quick thinking and setting priorities come naturally to you. You work with both electrical and hand tools, and communicate closely with operators to keep the machines in top condition. Flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset are second nature to you. At least mbo 4 level of working and thinking (secondary vocational education) Experience as a mechanic in a similar industrial environment is a plus Willingness to attend internal training and courses Able to work well under time pressure and quickly set priorities Solution-oriented and affinity with technology Welding experience is an advantage Skilled with electrical and hand tools Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written Flexible for 3-shift work
