Over de functie
As a Crate Washing Operator, you play an indispensable role in the logistics process. You are responsible for cleaning and inspecting crates used to transport fruits and vegetables. Hygiene and quality are top priorities, as these crates are reused for fresh produce. You work independently, enjoy a lot of freedom, and ensure together with your team that everything runs smoothly.On a typical workday, you operate modern washing machines, check crates for cleanliness and quality, and solve minor malfunctions yourself. You perform minor maintenance on the machines, keep production records, and communicate with your team leader about the progress of the process. You work in a 3-shift schedule (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00), which offers variety and flexibility.Do you want an active, technical, and independent position in a growing and sustainable organization? You have good command of Dutch, English, or German (for system use) You are willing to work in a 3-shift schedule You have an affinity with logistics processes and technology You can switch quickly and oversee work processes Preferably, you have a forklift certificate You have at least VMBO (secondary vocational) working and thinking level
