About the job
As a Model Maker, you’ll work independently on challenging and cutting-edge projects. In the model-making shop, you’ll be responsible for creating wooden molds used in the production of prefabricated building components. You’ll work with precision and ensure that every mold matches the desired shape and specifications exactly.
What makes this position unique is that the wooden molds are made entirely in-house. This means you’ll work in an environment where craftsmanship and innovation come together, and where you have significant influence over the production process. Moreover, you’ll see firsthand how the molds you create are used in practice. This makes your work not only technically interesting but also deeply rewarding.
You’ll use your knowledge of woodworking and technical drawings to create various shapes and structures. Your spatial awareness will come in very handy here. You’re someone who likes to contribute ideas, seek solutions, and doesn’t shy away from a challenge.

- You have an MBO 1/2 level of work and thinking
- You have knowledge of woodworking
- You can read technical drawings
- You are good at thinking in terms of shapes and spatial solutions
- You have a hands-on approach and are good with your hands
- You can work independently and with precision
- You are available for 24 to 40 hours per week
- You are willing to continue developing your skills in this field
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or English
