About the job
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of a technical team that provides support to customers worldwide. You will be responsible for building, assembling, installing, repairing and maintaining machines and installations at customer sites. You will also carry out technical audits and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance.
You will work independently at customer locations, while receiving specialist support from the Engineering or Technical Customer Support teams when needed. Projects are international and assignments may last several weeks. The combination of technical expertise, responsibility and international travel makes this a varied and challenging position.

You will join an internationally operating family-owned company and specialist in process technology for the animal feed industry. From its location in Panheel, the company develops, produces, installs and maintains machines and complete production installations. What we require
- You have at least MBO 4 or Bachelor's level in a technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- You have knowledge of, experience with or an affinity for process automation.
- You can read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and manuals.
- You have a good command of English, both written and spoken; a second language is an advantage.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You are able to work independently as well as in a team.
- You are able to coordinate colleagues, hired personnel or customer employees.
- You are willing to travel internationally and stay on location for several weeks when required.
- You are able to prepare technical reports and project documentation.
