Are you looking for an independent and responsible job where you can truly make a difference? As a Crate Washer Operator, you’ll be responsible for cleaning crates used for fruits and vegetables. Your work is crucial for food safety and a more sustainable world, since these crates are reused. In this role, you’ll have a lot of freedom in how you approach your tasks and get plenty of opportunities for personal development.
You will work in a 3-shift system (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00), which brings variety to your schedule and an attractive salary. Your main tasks include operating modern washing machines, checking crate quality, and resolving small technical faults. You’ll also perform minor maintenance and keep production records up to date. You work independently, but you’ll never be alone: together with your team, you ensure a smooth process.
A typical workday starts with a brief handover from your colleague. Then you start up the machines, inspect the first crates, and immediately resolve any minor faults. You monitor the process and step in where necessary. You’ll regularly consult with your team leader or colleagues to optimize production. This creates an active and engaging work atmosphere.

What we require
- You have a good command of Dutch or English, as these are used in our systems
- You are willing to work in a 3-shift system
- A forklift certificate is preferred but not required
- You have an affinity with logistics processes and technology
- You are able to switch quickly and oversee the workflow
- Experience as an operator or in a similar role is preferred
