Forklift Driver

For our client, a food recycling company, we are looking for a motivated Forklift Driver / Shovel Operator. You will work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 and have a varied role operating different machines while making an important contribution to the production process.

About the job
As a Forklift Driver / Shovel Operator, you will be responsible for moving and processing various raw materials and waste streams. You will operate a forklift and/or shovel, ensuring that materials are delivered to the correct locations.
Your duties will also include emptying containers and preparing and mixing raw materials for the biogas production process. You will check that mixtures are prepared according to schedules and instructions and report any irregularities. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the production process runs smoothly and safely.

What we require
- You have experience operating a forklift and/or shovel.
- Shovel experience is an advantage.
- You have technical insight and work accurately.
- You are independent, reliable and have a hands-on mentality.
- You work well with colleagues.
- You are willing to work in a production environment.
You speak and understand at least one of the following languages: Dutch, German, Polish or English.
