About the job
We’re looking for a Logistics Team Leader for a growing logistics organization in Venlo. In this role, you’ll lead your team on a daily basis and ensure that tasks are carried out properly and efficiently.
What will you be doing?
As a Team Leader, you’ll be the point of contact for your team. You’ll spend a lot of time on the shop floor, stay on top of what’s going on, and make sure everyone knows what’s expected of them.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing, guiding, and motivating your team on a daily basis;
- Assigning tasks and setting priorities;
- Monitoring progress, quality, and results;
- Identifying and resolving issues on the shop floor;
- Addressing employees when necessary;
- Maintaining contact with Floor Managers and colleagues in the office;
- Maintaining the necessary records and reports;
- Organizing your own work and that of your team
You’ll have a great deal of freedom in this role. As long as processes are followed and daily results are achieved, you’ll have the flexibility to decide for yourself how best to organize your team.
As the organization continues to grow, you’ll also play an active role in recruiting and selecting.

What we require
- You have management experience in logistics;
- You have knowledge of inbound and outbound B2B and B2C operations;
- An affinity for fashion logistics is a strong plus;
- You have strong organizational skills, are decisive, and are solution-oriented;
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office and WMS systems;
- You speak and write English well; Dutch is a plus.
You are visible on the work floor, communicate clearly, and are skilled at balancing different interests. Even during busy periods, you remain calm, maintain a clear overview, and ensure that the agreed-upon results are achieved.
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary between €2,831.17 and €3,449.50, depending on your knowledge and experience;
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week;
- 25 vacation days on a full-time basis;
- 8.33% vacation pay;
- Travel allowance of €0.25 per km (for one-way trips of 5 km or more);
- The option to use Lease a Bike;
- A one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal;
- Working regular daytime hours;
- During busy periods, you may occasionally be asked to work overtime. These hours can be compensated with time off in lieu.
