About the job
As a Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for coordinating daily operations within the logistics department. You’ll lead the team, monitor KPIs and quality standards, and ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with procedures.
In addition:
- You’ll lead daily kick-off meetings;
- You’ll coach and mentor your team members;
- You’ll provide support regarding absenteeism, recruitment, and training;
- You’ll identify and improve logistics processes;
- You’ll resolve any conflicts within the team;
- You’ll stand in for the Supervisor when necessary;
- You’ll assist with various logistics processes, such as inbound, pick & pack, replenishment, outbound, returns, and SAP.
What we require
- MBO Level 4, preferably supplemented by or currently pursuing a HBO/Bachelor’s degree;
- You are available for day shifts, depending on the department, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or for staggered day shifts between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m;
- At least 3–4 years of work experience in logistics;
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role;
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written;
- Strong leadership and coaching skills;
- Good organizational and communication skills;
- You are reliable, flexible, and solution-oriented;
- You get along well with a variety of people and know how to motivate a team;
- You are physically capable of performing warehouse tasks and lifting up to 25 kg.
