About the job
As a Supervisor Stock Control, you are responsible for leading the Operational Stock Control Team at the warehouse in Born. The team consists of Stock Controllers, Cycle Counters and employees responsible for WMS/TMS system support.
You will be the first point of contact for internal departments regarding stock management. You ensure the quality of the entire Stock Control process, monitor daily activities and make sure the team works according to plan. At the same time, you know how to motivate, guide and develop your team.
You will report to the Warehouse Manager Operations Support and work closely with the Warehouse, Transport and Customer Service teams.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the Stock Control Team;
- Coordinate cycle counts and Wall-to-Wall stock counts;
- Identify, analyse and report stock discrepancies;
- Prepare weekly warehouse occupancy forecasts;
- Manage and report daily warehouse occupancy;
- Initiate improvement actions to optimise warehouse capacity;
- Manage and report blocked stock;
- Ensure accurate item and location master data in the WMS;
- Act as the first point of contact for Customer Service regarding customer questions and complaints;
- Coach and support employees in their development;
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and projects;
- Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions;
- Participate in daily and weekly performance meetings;
- Carry out analyses regarding the impact of warehouse occupancy;
- Ensure compliance with applicable procedures and work instructions.

What we require
- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field;
- 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Experience in leading a team;
- Strong communication and influencing skills;
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
- Dutch language skills are an advantage;
- Good knowledge of MS Office;
- Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS);
- A proactive and results-oriented approach;
- A strong eye for quality and accuracy;
