About the job
As a Lean Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind expanding the Lean culture at our locations in Venray and Amsterdam. You’ll have significant responsibility and freedom to initiate, guide, and embed improvement projects throughout the organization. No two days are the same: you’ll organize Kaizen events, analyze logistics and operational processes, and turn your findings into concrete improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with local colleagues as well as the international Lean community.
On a typical day, you’ll coach employees, team leaders, and managers in Lean thinking. You’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement and optimize workflows, layouts, logistics flows, and KPI structures. Using analytical tools like Excel and Power BI, you’ll make data-driven decisions. You’ll be a visible presence on the work floor, ensuring improvements are truly embedded within teams.

What we require
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Lean Black Belt or comparable practical experience
- Demonstrable experience in logistics or operations
- Experience implementing a Lean culture (not just Lean tools)
- Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder management
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
- Good command of both Dutch and English
- Willingness to work at both Venray and Amsterdam locations
